20th Apr 2017
I hope you had a peaceful and restful Easter and are ready to face the final term of this academic year.
If you have a moment the next time you’re in school, please have a look at the Parent Noticeboard on reception. If you there is anything we’ve missed or that should be included, please let me know.
Parent Forum meetings are still held once every half term. In a recent study in England 72% of parents said that they wanted more involvement in their child’s education ( ibid) . With that in mind, if you are interested in helping to make a difference in school why not join us for coffee and a chat with other like- minded parents. The date of the next meeting is Friday 23rd June.
We now have Parent Representatives in school and they have recently represented parents on the Online safety committee. Parents have also had input with updating school policies.
I would like to invite Year 6 parents to join me on Tuesday 25th April at either 9.15 a.m. OR 2.30 p.m. in the RHAY Centre . If you have any worries or queries about your child starting secondary school why not come along. Refreshments will be available and a free raffle.
There will also be a suggestion box on reception after half term. Please feel free to let us know what we do well or if there is anything you need from us . Remember to leave contact details on the cards provided if you want me to get back to you.
